Aluminium 1070 contains about 99.7% aluminium, providing very high purity. It is soft and highly workable, with a tensile strength of 70–100 MPa and a yield strength of about 25 MPa. Elongation is over 20%, with a density of 2.70 g/cm³. The melting range is close to 650°C.
